Since 1957, the Superocean has earned a solid reputation in the field of diver’s watches. Its chronograph version, for example, features exceptional technical specifications. As a genuine seagoing instrument, the Chrono Superocean is water-resistant to 500 meters (1,650 ft); it is also equipped with safety pushpieces ensuring enhanced resistance and effective protection against shocks. Thanks to this system, the pushpieces may only be activated after unscrewing the restraining ring holding them in place. The Superocean chronograph is synonymous with excellent legibility, thanks to its oversized hands and sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides, a treatment applied without exception to all Breitling models. The Chrono Superocean is fitted with a special version of Breitling Calibre 13 driving day and date displays: a sturdy, precise and reliable movement that has repeatedly proven its worth, on land, in the air and now under the sea.
