Description
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressors collection was introduced in 2002. The design by Ms. Magali Metrailler was inspired by the the 1960's Memovox 'Polaris', while the name referred to the signature locking mechanism for the crowns. The Master Compressor Dualmatic reference 1738470 was introduced in 2004 as a more affordable take on the Master Compressor. It is powered by the self-winding caliber 972 with second time zone function. It was discontinued in 2007.
