Almost all of today's pilot watches are based on the design of the so-called observer watches that were part of the equipment of every navigation officer belonging to a German Air Force crew during World War II. The Nav.B-Uhr 47 Automatik A-Muster Premium , is STEINHART's modern interpretation of this classic design. Compared to the regular Nav.B-Uhr in our collection its case is 2,2mm thinner, made of 316L stainless steel, finely brushed, as is the exhibition case back. This allows for a detailed view of the newly developed caliber A10 made by the Swiss movement manufacturer Soprod SA. , The A10 offers not only impressive technical values and a very lavish decoration, it also features our gold, skeletonized rotor. While technology and material of the STEINHART Nav.B-Uhr 47 Automatik A-Muster Premium, are of present date, the design of the crown, as well as the dial and hands, which are generously coated with luminescent paint and protected by a domed and double-AR-coated sapphire crystal, quotes history in an authentic way. More can hardly be expected of a pilot's watch.
